PatternNook is built so that your pictures stay yours. All pattern generation — cross-stitch charts, bead templates, peyote and loom patterns — happens entirely in your browser. Your photos and designs are never uploaded to our servers, and we never see them.

The pattern designer saves your drafts and reusable elements in your browser's local storage, on your own device. Clearing your browser data removes them; nothing is stored anywhere else.

We do not require accounts, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.

We do not sell, share, or trade any personal data — we simply don't collect it in the first place.
